Program graduates will earn:

M.A. in Counseling, Mental Health with LPCC licensure

  • Prepares aspiring counselors to provide mental health counseling in private practice or in service to agencies and organizations
  • 60-unit program with 600 hours of fieldwork required
  • You can add the California School Counseling Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential with additional fieldwork hours.

M.A. in School Counseling with Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential

  • Prepares aspiring school counselors to work directly with K-12 students and their communities
  • 48-unit program with 800 hours of fieldwork required
  • Add the Child Welfare and Attendance Authorization to make an even more significant impact. (3 classes)

M.A. in Guidance and Counseling

  • Prepares candidates to work in higher education and/or non-profit settings in roles that don't require certification from boards or professional organizations (e.g. college career counselor, academic advisor, student services support)
  • Excellent preparation for a doctoral program
  • 41-unit program with 200 hours of fieldwork required
